چکیده

An Ad-hoc network consists of communicating nodes to establish improvised communication with environment without any fixed infrastructure. Nodes in Ad-hoc network (MANET) do not rely on a central infrastructure management but relay packets sent by other nodes. Mobile adhoc network can work properly only if the participating nodes collaborate with routing. Therefore it is required that the nodes co-operate for the intensity of operator network. Because of the high mobility of the nodes in the network, detection of misbehaviour of any node is a complex problem. Nodes have to share the routing information in order for each to find the route to the destination. This conceptual paper is based on the relationship among the nodes which makes them to co-operate in an ad-hoc network .This require nodes to Trust each other. Thus we can say Trust is a important concept in secure routing mechanism among the nodes. In this paper we present a unique Trust based method in which each node broadcast a RQ packet if it is received from different neighbours. The secure, efficient and reliable route towards the destination is calculated as a weighted average of the Trust value of the nodes in the route, with respect to it’s behaviour observed by the neighbour nodes and the number of nodes in the route.

Dynamic Trust Applied to Ad Hoc Network Resources

The Dynamic Trust-based Resources (DyTR) system applies a dynamic notion of trust to ad hoc network resources. DyTR continuously assesses the trustworthiness of entities over time based on system events and controls network resources according to current levels of trust. For dynamic trust assessment, DyTR utilizes a socio-cognitive model of trust, a formal model of the essential concepts and ch...

Trust Oriented Security Framework for Ad Hoc Network

An ad hoc network is a group of wireless mobile hosts that are connected momentarily through wireless connections in the dearth of any centralized control or some supporting services. The mobile ad hoc network is at risk by its environment because of the vulnerabilities at channel and node level. The conventional security mechanisms deals with only protecting resources from unauthorized access,...

Broadcast Routing in Wireless Ad-Hoc Networks: A Particle Swarm optimization Approach

While routing in multi-hop packet radio networks (static Ad-hoc wireless networks), it is crucial to minimize power consumption since nodes are powered by batteries of limited capacity and it is expensive to recharge the device. This paper studies the problem of broadcast routing in radio networks. Given a network with an identified source node, any broadcast routing is considered as a directed...

Fully Distributed Trust Model based on Trust Graph for Mobile Ad hoc Networks

Amobile ad hoc network (MANET) is a wireless communication network which does not rely on a pre-existing infrastructure or any centralized management. Securing the exchanges in MANETs is compulsory to guarantee a wide spread development of services for this kind of networks. The deployment of any security policy requires the definition of a trust model that defines who trusts who and how. Our w...

Trust in Ad hoc Networks A Novel Approach based on Clustering

Ad hoc Networks by virtue of their nature pose a real challenge towards establishing trust among nodes within the network. This paper introduces and describes a novel approach, based on clustering, for establishing such trust. Studies on traffic generation in both the proposed method and a fully distributed approach show that the proposed method provides leaner trust establishment than the trad...
